HOT HOT HOT!
Since April of 2016 I've worked as the lead editor for a Youtube show called Hot Ones. It's the show with hot questions, and even hotter wings.
Each week, host Sean Evans sits down with an unlucky celebrity for a discussion over dinner. The only item on the menu is chicken wings, and the flavors range from hot to insane. As Sean grills them with questions, the celebrities endure wings that no rational mind would choose to eat, culminating with a spice that's thousands of times hotter than a jalapeño. The result is snot, tears, and good Internet.
I was an instant fan of the show. While freelancing at it's producing company Complex Media, I would gush to whoever would listen about my favorite episode. I pitched Hot Ones social videos, made Hot Ones memes, and generally fanboyed out. Finally, there came a point where the current editor didn't have to work on an upcoming episode, and my supervisor decided to give me a shot. I'm very fortunate to say I've edited it ever since.
